Payment can either be made by credit or debit card by clicking on the link in the email or in the Invoice PDF or by BACS using the bank account details on the invoice. Publications or resources will only be dispatched once payment has been received. Payment for events are required on invoice and no later than the day of the event.

Terms and conditions

1. Licence:

To enter candidates for the SSAT Student Leadership Accreditation (SLA), you must be an active licence holder of the SLA. SSAT Members receive a free licence on membership renewal and non-member schools can purchase a licence. A licence is valid for a year from date of application before renewal is required.
The licence is non-refundable upon either receiving the starter kit or if fully paid.
If you are unsure if you currently have a valid licence, please contact studentleadership@ssatuk.co.uk.

2. Fees:

Where Licence Fees are due, Licence fees are invoiced at the time of booking and the fee must be paid within 7 days of invoicing. No materials will be released until paid.
All fees published or quoted by us are expressed exclusive or VAT [or local sales tax], which, if applicable we will add to the amount in question and will be payable to you in addition.

3. Eligibility criteria and application procedure:

Each application must be supported by relevant documentation as set out in the application procedure. This is available within the Teacher and Student Packs or upon request.
Candidate eligibility can be found within the Teacher Pack, which is included in the starter kit for the programme.
Our determination as to whether a candidate has met or continue to meet our eligibility criteria will be made in good faith, based on the evidence provided.
SSAT endeavours to moderate all submitted portfolios within two working weeks of receipt. This may vary during peak submission periods.
SSAT advises schools to submit any portfolios as scanned PDF, password protected. All submitted portfolios will be securely destroyed after moderation.

4.Duration of Accreditation and Renewal

Candidate accreditation is awarded for life. This can be revoked if deemed to have been gained unfairly.
Candidates are encouraged to re-apply to gain a higher level.
