We are delighted to be joined by Dylan Wiliam, Emeritus Professor of Educational Assessment, University College London and originator of the Embedding Formative Assessment programme, for an online briefing.
Dylan will delve into the critical role of formative assessment in enhancing student achievement. He will highlight how understanding what students know and adapting instruction accordingly is the most effective way to drive learning progress in the classroom.
Additionally, Dylan will explain how the Embedding Formative Assessment (EFA) programme supports teachers in developing and sustaining habit changes in their formative assessment practices through teacher learning communities.
The briefing will last 60 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session where Dylan will be available to answer your questions.
The two-year long programme is being rolled out in hundreds of schools nationwide. Join us to find out the benefits of implementing EFA in your school.

Dylan Wiliam, Emeritus Professor of Educational Assessment, University College London
In a varied career, he has taught in inner-city schools, directed a large-scale testing programme, served a number of roles in university administration, including Dean of a School of Education, and pursued a research programme focused on supporting teachers to develop their use of assessment in support of learning.
Over the last ten years, Dylan has worked with teachers, schools, leaders, and education agencies in over 25 countries to support teachers in improving education by developing their practice of classroom formative assessment.
Corinne Settle, Senior Education Lead, SSAT
Corinne has an insatiable passion for teaching & learning which is focused on inspiring and supporting teachers and school leaders to become even better. Corinne leads the EFA programme at SSAT and has considerable experience as a teacher and senior leader herself, having worked in schools in Salford and Hull.
