Over the course of the summer term of 2021, a series of online events brought together leaders from all phases across the country and further afield. This was an opportunity to learn from one another, address and seek practical, sustainable solutions to some of the challenges that face us and work collaboratively.
The series also allowed time to recognise achievements on the frontline of our different school communities and consider steps that can be taken to inspire lasting action as we look hopefully to the future and further strengthen our work with our staff and students.
This pamphlet aims to capture some of the key ideas shared by speakers as part of the SSAT Summer Series 2021. We were privileged to share the thinking of some exceptional thinkers – inspirational school leaders and experts in a range of fields. We hope that the pamphlet will encourage you to watch the sessions in their entirety if you haven’t already. Questions and other activities in the pamphlet are designed to support the discussion and actions you and colleagues will be taking as you consider why change is needed, now.
