As we approach the General Election, little has been said by either of the major parties about what will happen to qualifications if they are elected. This is despite the curriculum and qualifications framework having been in place for at least 10 years.
As schools face the ever more urgent challenges of ensuring wellbeing for their students, the value of including students in their planning should be recognised.
As we move through the summer term many schools will be organising elections and re-examining the structures that support their student leaders.
