In issue 23 of the Leading Change journal, we are delighted to share the projects that were recently supported by Leading Edge innovation grants. This cohort had a particular focus on wellbeing, so you will notice that several case studies focus on this area.

Brooke Weston Academy explores the impact of harnessing the power of the spoken word to develop students’ confidence, courage, and enhance life chances.

Kennet School discusses the establishment of a coaching culture, emphasising the benefits and outcomes of fostering a supportive coaching environment.

The Piggott School introduces innovative technology, utilising voice-activated label printers to streamline the marking and feedback process, reducing workload and enhancing efficiency.

Shenley Brook End School explores the implementation of behaviour coaching strategies, contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.

St Michael’s Catholic College shares effective strategies for workload reduction, ensuring a balanced and supportive environment for all staff members.

Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust takes a holistic approach to mental health and well-being, fostering a supportive environment across the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).
