Broadening Horizons

Recently our CEO Sue Williamson met with Nick Chambers at Education and Employers, and learnt about their new three-minute video which shows children having fun, learning and being inspired. It’s what education is all about.

The video shows how interactive virtual sessions can give children, wherever they live, the chance to meet a diverse range of people doing different jobs – helping to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and challenge ingrained stereotypes that can limit children’s ambition for the future.

The video was made by the charity Education and Employers who run Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures which gives schools FREE access to tens of thousands of volunteers. To search the online database of volunteers, find people that suit your school’s needs and access a wide range of free resources go to www.inspiringthefuture.org
